Figured it was only a matter of time. Been hearing that the population was really increasing. Hopefully the lawsuits don’t kill the hunt before it ever happens.

Call me crazy but that would be a cool hunt with the bow. 8-)

Great news! Was worried they might go the sharp shooter route.

Good that they are being hunted now they really needed to be since they have little to no fear of humans right now in the lower 48. I'm really disappointed that Wyoming is going to charge 6,000 for a NR tag. Plus you can't hunt wilderness areas without a guide as a NR which is a good chunk of the grizzly bear range in WY. At 6k license fee its not too much different than hunting AK or BC especially if you go guided which I'm sure guides will charge comparable prices to AK or BC so in the long run it will be the same or more. I was hoping this would of been a much more affordable option for DIY hunters to hunt them, guess not. BC and AK require guides for NR Grizz hunts so at least you do have a DIY option in WY.

Glad to hear. I love conservation. Putting a season on an animal is basically a guarantee that the animal will be managed properly. The North American game management model is the standard throughout the world. Never has an animal gone extinct once hunters are in charge of their well being.

I never gave this any thought that once humans start hunting and killing the bears, they will learn to fear humans. Saving the non hunters in the long run. Would that be true?
