This pic was emailed to me from a guy I work with .It is one of his friends Elk Hunting in ND .I don,t know how to paste his own comments so I will retype them below the picture.
This is freakin scary. As you know I was alone when i downed this elk in N.D.I was using my cameras timer attached to my shooting stick to give me enough time to get into the picture.I knew there were a lot of cats in the area but had no idea they would come in this close to people. He had to be within 10 feet of me and I did,nt even know it.I about crapped my pants when i looked at the pictures the next morning and saw he was there.
Too close for comfort !

A good friend of mine was stalked by one in Wyoming. Good thing he happened to turn around to see it slinking his way. 10 yards away before he saw it. He shot over its head with his rifle and it hissed at him.
His week of hunting was basically over as he didnt want to hunt solo after that anymore.

i did,nt want to suggest that ,but now that you have ,well it seems pretty unreal but who knows right.I know that i,ve heard at least a hundred stories of mountain lions sneeking up on hunters and so on.
