Hope you get the best footage, good luck!

Never been on an antelope hunt, would like to see how it's done. I assume bowhunting as you said "stick one". Stalking or waiting in a blind?

I spoke with chris a few hours ago, he was in Iowa on the way back.

He said they had a good hunt and got good footage. I will let him fill in details.

Well, got back last night and just catching up.........Rick ended up with a great buck! However he traded the bow for the 300 as it was the last day of the hunt and we were having quite a time getting within bow range. We did get in bow range on two different bucks one of which he was about to shoot but the decoy was blocking me (and the camera) so i held him off and by the time it was on camera it was running. The other buck we got withing 30 yards more than once but he just wasn't big enough for Rick (he was about 12 inches) it was fun stalking that one as we got into bow range more than once.
Sooo on the last day we switched up to the rifle and waited on a group of 5 bucks we had seen the previous two days. We expected them to come past us about 11 and when by noon they were still bedded over a mile away, we decided it was time to move on them.......We walked, crawled and slithered to within 450 yards, then it started to rain....... I didn't feel it would be great footage, but with a storm moving in and Rick feeling confident he could make the shot, we decided he should give it a try.............The biggest of the 5 was in his sights........... and the rest of the story will have to wait til the footage airs on the show

I will say we came home with a good buck and if I can get him to email me the pix we took, I will post them soon. 8-)
