You don't find many stand up guys like you. I tip my hat to you.
If you're ever anywhere around western Kentucky and need anything, just give me a shout. I'll buy you supper, breakfast, or a cup of coffee, whatever. Great job.

Thanks for the good word SM. May our paths cross one of these days.

Thanks Ed.....my late father would use that statement quite often. After his passing, I always find that I asked myself what would dad do, he has been my guidance.

Thanks for the kind words guys. When raising our 3 daughters and teaching them about hunting, always told them that you have to be the only one happy with your decisions as a hunter. Because once you decide to shoot, the decision is final and you can't take it back. But you alone have to stand behind your decision and the outcome, good or bad. We owe the animals we pursue no less.

How much was the ticket?

Believe the warden let me off pretty easy. Ticket was $420, WY elk license cost is $577. He also told us if it was his choice he wouldn't have issued a ticket, but I broke the law and he had to do his job. He earned my respect for being straight with us, he could have done much worse if he chose too.

I think I would of been ok with that... Sounds pretty reasonable considering how much money is spent on a hunt like that.
