I think it may actually be higher from a study I read that was done in the U.P. They claimed it was actually more like 30-50 deer/wolf annually. :shock: http://www.michigan.gov/dnr/0,1607,7-15 ... --,00.html

1 deer/week and you can see what kind of damage that could do to the herd over time. Honestly I don't think the DNR will have problems selling wolf tags no matter what the price is.


this may be the ratio for coyote?

No way. It's the woodticks, I mean global warming, no it's because they rub the fur off and it's too cold, too dry, too wet...

Talk about burying their heads in the sand and ignoring the obvious.

I hate wolves and coyotes.......a dead one is a good one :dance:

I would have shot around the water to scare the wolves away instead of watching them attack the calf, or shoot the wolves without the tracking collar on.
