It used to be Marlin, went to Costa Rica looking to hook one and I caught a sailfish and a couple of stud Mahi Mahi. After fighting the sail and mahi, not sure I'm up to landing a huge Marlin.
I've since looked at Florida Tarpon and Columbia River Sturgeon. Headed to Oregon this summer and chose the salmon run over sturgeon. I have a charter booked already.

Aside from 'trophy" fish, I'd be happy filling a bucket up with yellow or white perch and filleting them next to a hot pot of grease, few beers and friends for company. Haven't fished for yellow perch in about 20 years - one of my favorite eating fish. Just live too far south for 'em, at least 10 hours south of waters that hold some.

My dream fish would be catching an Albino crappie. I never have even seen one. Other than that a catfish over 100lbs is on my bucket list. I've got in the mid 90s a couple times but can't seem to reach the 100# mark.

Same. Just not on Green Bay though
My goal is to do this on the Wisconsin River in point. I know the fish exist. Just gotta catch them.

A stringer full of 3 lb crappie, one of these days I want to head south in the spring
Or a 6+ smallie, I need to get my but back out on Lake St. Clair. Held two pushing 5 one day
Salt water, I can't even imagine what a dream fish would be. Had a couple huge hammerheads (8+ ft) on that I never landed. That was some screaming line
