Winter Fish Kill- Fox Lake Dodge County

This is an article on winter fish kill in WI. These pictures are from Fox Lake in Dodge County. Not good.

It may take fox a while to recover. Considering the freeze kill and the ridiculous amount pressure it gets.

Ice fishing this past winter we had tip ups out and the minnows died within 30 minutes. The lake we were on is in Chippewa CO. It sucks we have land on it and the kids loved fishing it. We would spend every weekend there and never heard them fighting or complaining the whole time there.

I think there will be a lot of lakes like this if it doesn't have a spring in it. I know people on the lake plan on helping it along by stocking from the lake right next to it.
