with the warm temps and rain forcasted we might all be open water fishing soon. nice northern.

I hope not, good ice this year. I had 7 to 8 inches solid ice the 2 lakes I fished so far.
Hope the rain doesn't mess it up.

The "little" river just opened up enough for me to take the jonboat up to give 3 trees a little trim,then check a couple more areas....also,if i remember,there's a really cool rock I wanted but wasn't about to bring out on in the canoe.

Nice. Put a couple tip ups out yesterday for the first time since 2011. No ice last year I would trust on our lake.
