I used to do it years ago. If I remember right they ran about the middle of April. We would go at night and shine the creeks to find out when they were running. We fished them in the holes with crawlers or worms.

As soon as you hook one theres a sucker at both ends of the line. :lol: :lol: :lol:

what do you want suckers for?? pickling...... i get them constantly fishing the milw and menomonee river this time of the year going for steelhead. there in schools of hundreds and are up to 5 lbs there

Thanks magic!

I guess its more for the fun of going out with some buddies and doing something...but everyone tells me to try them smoked... we have a little smoke house that i would like to smoke them with and try a couple different types of wood. Different recipes....

im not much of a fishermen though,
