looking for a new boat

Unread postby ihookem » Fri Sep 02, 2022 1:40 am

I have been looking for a 17 or 18' tiller aluminum boat . It is not going very well at all neither. I am looking at G3, v17 Polarkraft Outlander 186T and a Smokercraft 180 Freedom.. Anyone have these boats and what do you like or dislike about them?

I’ve got a G3 1860 center console. Bought it in 2017, Yamaha 90 on it. No problems with the boat or motor. I can get my deer cart and stand in there no problem, but not much more, a tiller as you mentioned would be better if you need more room. Best thing I put on it was a hydraulic jack plate for shallow water, which I hunt in, and gps for navigation at nite.

Lowcountry , that is a good setup . I am looking into something that might be exactly the same, a G3 1870T? cant remember, there are so many numbers. There is also an "Outfitter 187T and a 177T. They seem to sell quite reasonably priced.
