Sonar on your phone or tablet

Unread postby headgear » Thu Jul 11, 2013 7:33 am

Check this out, look like you can buy a unit that wirelessly transfers the sonar to your phone or tablet. All kinds of built in control on the touch screen, you could also use one unit to send the signal to your friends phones, everyone just has to download a free app. Looks pretty cool and very likely the future of fishing.

Just hope the NSA doesn't grap my best fishing spots! :P

I wonder what the transducer will cost. Cool item.
You cannot invade mainland America. There would be a rifle behind every blade of grass.

Would almost need a battery pack, so your smart phone wouldn't drain. Very cool though

True that.
You can fool some of the bucks, all of the time, and fool all of the bucks, some of the time, however you certainly can't fool all of the bucks, all of the time.

Kinda figured something like this would be available soon. Don't think I would like to be looking at my small screen on my iPhone while fishing though. Would definately need a larger iPad for that.
