What do you guys think this is? I’m guessing wolf/dog hybrid.

I have no idea what that is. It will be interesting to see what the DNA test shows.

Probably a hybrid. But I wouldn't rule out it being some kind of birth defect/genetic mutation. It does seem cartoonish in the face/snout area.

The critter in the article doesn’t appear to have real bad mange.

Back about 20 years ago I was sitting with my dad for opening day of deer season. I could not Carry a gun yet as the law was 14 back then. We watched what we first thought was a dog coming across the field and as it got closer we realized it was a coyote, or something. It was the strangest looking coyote, had the fur and the face and ears of a coyote but was stocky like a lab, had a really big barrel chest, shorter stubby legs. Anyways is was wild for sure, ran right to my uncle who of course never saw it as he never saw anything that would walk right in front of him. I have always wondered if it was some kind of coyote/dog cross breed.

This thing looks like either a wild dog, or a wolf dog cross. I hope the story has a follow up so we find out what it was.

Man, that was John Brennan’s ol’lady.
