Let's talk best scope lights for predator hunting

Unread postby xpauliber » Thu Mar 12, 2015 5:09 am

After bagging my first called-in yote last weekend, I'm pretty hooked! I realize that I'm going to have to do some night hunting and right now, I need a buddy to go with me to hold the light. What is the best scope-mounted light that you've used?

I have a red wicked light on my .243. So far so good. Got it on clearance. Lights up clearly out about 175-200 yard but can spot eyes 350-400 ish. Can pop it off and use as a hand light and put it back on. All you have to do is set it on the bracket that is mounted to the scope and tighten a wing nut.

Thanks for the replies! There ended up being a Wicked Light dealer located near me and I went to buy one of their lights and the dealer talked me into a Sniper Hawg light. He carried both brands and he used the Hawg light on his personal setup. It was slightly cheaper and had the same features as a Wicked Light so I went with it. Had it out about 4 sets so far and I'm very happy with it. Great distance and the flood/spot adjustment is really nice.
