Maybe I Shouldn't Have Done It, But I Did
I just let my new pup, Willow, out for a minute. I was watching it from the window to see what it would do out there on her own. Then in the background I see a coyote slinking around. I got a gun, opened the back door, and caught movement coming through. It was a yote slinking around my yard. I dropped him, even though the season for them is closed. With piglets, a new pup, and a cat, I don't want the yote around. A small part of me thinks I shouldn't have done it, but I was in my underware, on my patio, next to my dog and pigs, on my property, so I don't care, this one had to go.....

Are you sure it was illegal? I know in WI landowners can kill some critters that are out of season legally, as long as it's done on their land. But coyote season is open year round here.

They can come get me. I'm ready to argue my case, and pay the fine. I just don't care in this case. Yeah, it is dumb to put it online. I did it to see if others would have done the same. Should coyote season even be closed???
Plus there is no evidence. Maybe it didn't even happen....

By all means shoot all of them you can. I wouldnt want them around. I think its even more justified because you were vulnerable...especially since you were in your underware. LMAO!!!

I don't know if even Dan can say he killed a yote in his underware. Dan, ever kill anything in your underware? Anyone?

Re: Maybe I Shouldn't Have Done It, But I Did
Here we can shoot them year round. I personally wouldn't shoot one right now with them having pup's unless it was causing issues... But, I have in the past when I was younger.. You gotta live with it. No one else. If you feel it was right. Then so be it.
