Just before dark I heard my 1st gobble of the year! 8-)
No coyotes, but two pairs of wood ducks were in the pond keeping me entertained. It was interesting that when I turned on the remote controlled caller to squeal like a dieing rabbit the ducks started making a very similar noise and immediately and quickly swam over to the call... I was also able to watch some deer feeding in the distance.... It was nice to be in a tree.
