I find pics tonight when I get in. I shot one in the last back in the spring with a 270 wsm 130 gr balistic tip at 306 yards...that was a mess too.

I also have some pics of a head shot, 9 yards with 3.5" #4 magnum load.

I wouldn't hunt coyotes specifically with a caliber that big. If I was hunting another game animal and happened to see a coyote (in season) I would shoot it.
This probably won't be popular but I don't see the necessity of posting the exit hole picture. Using a caliber that is suitable for elk and moose on an animal that is 1/15th of their body weight. What would be the point of showing that picture? In poor taste even among us here who are avid hunters. IMO
