First yote of the year

Unread postby James » Sun Dec 30, 2012 4:47 am

Worked out textbook last tonight. Parked the truck, walked to the area I had envisioned my stand for the night. Set out my rabbit decoy and call. Backed up the hill 100 yards. Hunted the light cross wind. After 5-6 minutes of calling I let up and this nice male coyote came running in. He axtually came in straight upwind of the decoy and call. 175 yard shot with the AR and he dropped in his tracks. Already skinned out and ready for the next one!

You can fool some of the bucks, all of the time, and fool all of the bucks, some of the time, however you certainly can't fool all of the bucks, all of the time.
