Bobcat tag

I was wondering what would I have to do to get a bobcat trapping tag? I have been getting the most bobcat pics on trail cam this year than ever.

I dont know much about trapping but have a good friend up north who will help.

Dr Grant Woods just had an episode specific to trapping cats vs coyotes. I find his webcast very informative...

You have to apply for a bobcat tag. Hunting with dogs or trapping or however you want to hunt them you use the same tag. It takes SEVERAL years now to get a tag in WI. I believe the deadline is in August and season begins mid October, but don't quote me. So start applying. Similar to the bear lottery. I want to say 5 years or more now to get a tag...
